Hey, names JonnyG, known around here as Agent 00G. I’ve been given the task of welcoming you to our little joint agency. First I’ll start with a little background on the place.  For the longest time the people around here thought they were gods. It probably sounds a little strange, but it really wasn’t. We had pictures of Thor, Odin, even the lovely Freya.  We’d read a 3000 year history and heard stories about the world tree. With all that information, why shouldn’t we believe?  Why wouldn’t we believe? Then one day four long years ago, argh, I remember that day well, February 12th, 2004, things around here were Ragnarok’d.  Turns out the end was really the end, and not the beginning as we’d been led to believe.

Our dreams of being a god squashed, we were left feeling lost and abandoned. We stumbled around for quite a while before recovering from our stupor.  Turns out a competing agency had put a hallucinogen in our water supply and hacked into our computers and put in pictures of false gods. A lot of people were disenchanted, and ended up leaving over this. But a few hard core people stuck it out and they’ve been rewarded with positions in our new agency, rebuilt from the ground up. Hi, I’m Jon, I’ve been assigned the task of translating the above. This site was originally a fansite for the game Mythica. We had a lot of great discussions about what we think would have been one of the best MMORPG’s out there. Unfortunately, Microsoft thought differently and it was canceled. We’ve kind of been floundering ever since. Most left, but a few die hard stalwarts have stayed and discussed the current state of the genre. Recently a bunch of the Mythica folks who are now at SOE announced their latest endeavor, The Agency. We jumped on board and you see the results before you. Welcome to our new site, The Agency HQ.We really think The Agency is going to be a great game. They’ve got amazing concepts and a great team.
